How about trying to get trials with a football team first. Then you can think about exercises. good exercises are bike riding this helps improve ur cardiovascular system. You should use weights to build up ur arms, and do squat thrusts and push ups to help ur legs. Also play football, if you live in london u can come and play football wid me and my mates my email address is [email protected] we will give u a run for ur money.

Get adopted by Roman Abramovich. Seriously, if you’re only average then you have little chance unless you work really hard to develop your strong points. Kevin Keegan should be your role model – he wasn’t particularly gifted but he made up for it with commitment

Don’t expect miracles – but join a team; train hard, practice skills, and see what level you can reach. Just enjoy the competition, whatever level you achieve.

im 17 years old,i had trials for a few clubs such as swindon town, west ham and was given a contract by swindon i was with them for a year and then got released to be honest, i dont know why i did but i did. i suggest just training hard regurlarly at least twice a week for an hour, perform well and hope u get to finals of competitions this is where the scouts will pick u up it is not very regularly they come to watch sunday league games however they do attend finals. It would also help u if u knew someone in the game a manger or a backroom staff member of a club, i hated this when i was on conctract as there was a kid there training and playing who was utter rubbish however he was picked on the basis of his dad being paul bodin, the only reason he was in was due to his status. did my nut in. there is no real training exercise which will help just keep perceveiring and hope someone spots u. good luck.
